The property is well-situated for exploring Shrewsbury and the Shropshire hills. While most experiences are positive, a few guests noted minor maintenance issues and a desire for more privacy around the hot tub.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage receives consistent commendations for its cleanliness, with numerous guests describing it as 'spotless' and 'well-presented'. This suggests a high standard of cleanliness maintained by the hosts.

The location is frequently described as peaceful and quiet, with easy access to local attractions and countryside. The rural setting is appreciated for its beauty and tranquillity, contributing to a positive experience.

Comfort is a strong point for the cottage, with guests finding it spacious, well-furnished, and cosy. The presence of a large bed and the overall relaxing atmosphere are noted as particularly comfortable aspects.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the hot tub and well-equipped kitchen. However, some guests mentioned minor issues such as broken garden chairs and a desire for aesthetic improvements around the hot tub area, which slightly impacts the score.

Guests mention thoughtful touches like homemade biscuits and the offer of apples, which contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. While these gestures are appreciated, it is politely noted that such personal touches may vary and are not guaranteed.

The location was perfect, the views from the windows beautiful including the horse training. An added bonus. The barn conversion was delightful, a new one on us and different from the usual accommodation. Excellent size huge bed with high quality bed linen which was much appreciated. The hosts were charming. Highly recommended Thank you for providing a good base to go exploring the area

Very comfortable and deceptively spacious. Nothing not to like.

Location was quiet and the facilities within the cottage fantastic. Not a smart TV so those of a streaming persuasion would need to bring a fire stick or equivalent, but a great quality TV and DVD player . The cottage is also in a fantastic location for visiting Shrewsbury, Attingham Park, Ironbridge Gorge and has a castle just over a miles walk away .
