It has all mod cons yet maintains a warm old fashioned homely ambience. It was perfect for us. Would have no hesitation in staying there again.

The cottage is well equipped with everything you might need during your stay. Beds were really comfortable with good quality bedding. Within easy reach of local pubs, restaurants, shops etc. No problems parking. Would highly recommend. We loved the local area and would definitely return to Miners Cottage. Owners were more than helpful. Thank you Holly for everything.

As it is old it took a while to heat up and we found it needed the fire alight to help maintain heat in the living room but we did have quite a cold week, snowing on the last day. Despite that had a relaxing week and it's a lovely town and area and one we will return to.
