The area around Cromford has lots of lovely walks, we particularly enjoyed walking along Cromford canal & the High Peak trail, our dogs loved it too. A great area to visit

Extremely low doors that were not mentioned. Bumped heads many times and ended up wearing bobble hat indoors. Not very dog friendly. No garden or green space of any kind to let your dog out in. It meant walking out at 5:30am for a dog walk and late on in the evening. The dog was never able to be off the lead. If your dog gets out of the front door it’s chances are not good. Cromford itself is amazing and would go back at the drop of a hat but sadly not in Bobbin cottage.

Lots of great walks literally on your doorstep and with pubs and places to eat nearby - it was the perfect location for a weekend break. It was clean, well maintained and had everything you could need for your time away. Would definitely book again.
