Snaptrip says

Tyn Towyn - Bwthyn Carreg is a quaint cottage praised for its prime location near the beach and its peaceful garden. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness and the responsive caretaker. While some find the cottage cosy and well-equipped, others suggest it could benefit from updates to furniture and kitchenware.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with several guests finding it clean and well-kept. However, there are instances of dissatisfaction due to unclean areas, such as behind the bed and the oven, which slightly lowers the score.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach and quiet surroundings, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. The convenience and scenic setting contribute to a high score in this category.

Guests find the cottage to be cosy and peaceful, but comfort is compromised by reports of an uncomfortable sofa and a creaky bed base. The mixed feedback on comfort results in an average score.

The cottage offers a range of facilities, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as broken furniture and outdated kitchen equipment. While some guests are satisfied, the need for improvements affects the score.

Guests have noted the welcome pack, which includes treats like Welsh cakes and Prosecco, adding a thoughtful touch to their stay. While such gifts are appreciated, they are not guaranteed for every visit.

Very well equipped . As others have said pity the cottage doesn’t open on to garden but understand why it can’t. Thank you for welcome parcel, enjoyed. Only area to improve was kitchen cleanliness, found dishes etc not cleaned very well.

Some minor maintenance is needed eg lock on bathroom door (reported by others)

Beautiful garden & views . Owners provided Milk ,tea & coffee & a lovely Welsh cake & Bottle of prosecco on arrival Which is a lovely touch. Unfortunately we felt as the property is let down by inadequate cleaning & Maintenance. Oven not clean, toaster useless. Bathroom in need of an update , Could not hang clothes in wardrobe in bathroom because of dust & spider webs . Dust everywhere in the property. Outside there are new table & Chairs which we found very uncomfortable. We wished we had taken our own folding chairs to enjoy the Beautiful outdoor space. This property has bags of potential if Standard of cleanliness & maintenance could be improved.
