The enclosed gardens and local wildlife add to the charm. Some minor maintenance issues were noted, but these did not detract significantly from the overall positive experiences.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the cottage to be clean, though there were a few mentions of cobwebs and dog hairs. The feedback suggests room for improvement in cleaning thoroughness.

The location is highly praised for its tranquility, access to the Cinder Track, and proximity to Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay, making it an ideal base for exploring.

The cottage is consistently described as comfortable and homely, with comfortable sofas and a well-equipped kitchen. However, some guests experienced issues with heating and a leak.

Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped kitchen and enclosed gardens. Points were deducted for maintenance issues like a broken can opener, a non-functional hoover, and a leak.

Beautiful cottage, plus all the stuff you need, only thing that let it down, bit dusty in places, plus the hoover isn't very good, definitely will be back

Two minor points, can opener was broken and needs replacing and there was a smell coming up from the kitchen sink but as I said before we would return to this house again.

The bungalow has everything you need. A cinder track is located behind the property and was a lovely two mile walk to Whitby. We got a bus home. It's a shame there was no recycling.
