Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, the property's cleanliness, and the friendly neighbours. The picturesque garden and proximity to local amenities add to the charm. While there are minor mentions of development work and maintenance issues, these do not detract significantly from the overall positive experiences.

The cottage was very clean and well kept and has a nice outside seating area (up steps) which is lovely to sit and relax with a cup of coffee and a book. We like the village of Chinley which has two pubs only five minutes walk from the cottage and a fish and chip shop nearby. The Lamb Inn is only a short drive away and very nice. There were lots of very enjoyable walks and drives in the surrounding area making this a very good choice for exploring the beautiful Peak District.

No complaints at all. Shower good. WiFi excellent. Bed comfortable and good linen and towels. Heating very easy to control with the Hive thermostat.Parking did not prove a problem despite a Ford Transit parked net door. A great base for Geocaching or just walking from the cottage. The two local pubs were friendly. We did not eat at the Indian Restaurant/Cafe but it looked inviting. We will consider returning next year to continue with the masses of Geocaches yet to find.
