There was a bottle of wine, cookies, milk and fresh flowers waiting when we arrived which was very thoughtful. The house was very clean and really well equipped for us. The location was great for exploring Northumberland and the dogs had a great time at various beaches and in the woods on Wooler Common. Iâd heartily recommend The Old Bakery to anyone wanting to visit this part of the country.

Pleased to see that the shower had been installed above the bath, which I didn't see from the picture when I booked in late 2023. Beware the church bell ringing at a most unreasonably early hour!

The location was amazing. Wooler is such a beautiful place. The only complaint we have is that the main bedroom mattress needs replacing, if you sleep on the left side (looking at the bed from the foot ), you find yourself rolling to the right. Other than that we had the best time and it was a home away from home. Thank you very much Kathy!!
